Dear Clients,
We are increasing the SSL certificate fees starting May 10, 2026 due to several factors:
- Our SSL certificate providers based in the US, have hiked their prices due to high inflation caused by the Middle East war.
- The Peso's devaluation also caused by the Middle East war, has elevated the USD-PESO exchange rate. Unfortunately the SSL fees are priced in USD and therefore a price hike is inevitable.
- The cost of providing technical support 24/7 has also increased due to higher electricity, food, transportation, salaries, and other inflationary pressures in the Philippines.
- Lastly, the BIR has imposed extra taxes to Web.com.ph for services rendered outside of the Philippines like SSL certificates.
